Borough Representation
Handball made it’s debut in the London Youth Games – Europe’s largest annual youth sport event – as a demonstration sport in June 2008. Since it’s inception entries to the development competition have increased year on year.
In 2010 the girls competition was won by the London borough of Hackney and the London borough of Sutton won the boy’s competition. In 2011 with thirteen boroughs competing the London borough of Bexley won the girls competition and the London borough of Greenwich won the boy’s competition.
