Welcome to the LHA Website

The London Handball Association (LHA) has been formed to support the development of Olympic Handball in London in partnership with England Handball Association (EHA) and British Handball Association (BHA).

Hosting the Olympic and Paralympic Games in London is creating the opportunity for Olympic Handball to flourish as participants discover this fast, fun, multi-skill sport. Running, jumping and throwing are the key skills in Handball which is low on costs and easily played on playgrounds, in parks and halls.

Every child, youth and adult in the UK could have the opportunity to experience Olympic Handball as a direct result of hosting the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games as part of the “Participation Legacy” and we are working hard to achieve this objective in London.
